The Department of Education Joins the Celebration of the International Women’s Day Today, March 8!
With the theme “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality,” this year’s celebration is in accordance with the priority concept for the upcoming 67th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW-67), which is the “Innovation and technological change, and education in the digital age for achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls”.
In line with this, the celebration also aims to recognize women and girls who are championing the advancement of transformative innovation and digital education. Along with this, we are also celebrating today the Women’s Rights and International Peace Day in accordance with Proclamation No. 224, s. 1988. Let us continue to raise awareness and uphold women’s rights!
