𝙒𝙃𝘼𝙏’𝙎 𝙄𝙉 | On October 15, 2023, at Navotas National Science High School, the Scienistas participated in the annual observance of 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘆 🧼. The event, organized by the MAPEH Club officers in collaboration with the MAPEH teachers, was conducted successfully and included a harmonious rendition of the “𝘏𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘺 𝘉𝘪𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘥𝘢𝘺” song 🎶 by the students. The Scienistas demonstrated their enthusiastic involvement 🌟, held under the theme “𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙘𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩?” by engaging in handwashing activities 👏 aimed at promoting proper hygiene practices. Their cooperation were intended to raise awareness about the significance of handwashing in maintaining good health 🩺 and preventing infections 🦠. 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘆, observed annually on October 15, is an 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 🌍 that seeks to raise awareness about the importance of handwashing with soap 🧴 as an effective and affordable method to prevent diseases and save lives. Established by the Global Handwashing Partnership in 2008, the initiative emphasizes the need for proper hygiene practices, particularly in regions where access to clean water and soap is limited 🚰. Through educational programs, events, and partnerships, Global Handwashing Day strives to instill 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗵𝘆𝗴𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁 👐, ultimately contributing to a 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗿 and 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝘆𝗴𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗰 global community 🌱.
